high school inVaughan, Ontario ,Canada .The beautiful modern architecture design of Vaughan Secondary School is evident from its exterior and upon entering the main doors, a vast mall-like atrium lined with trees and skylights welcomes you.
The school is in the
York Region District School Board , and is home toRAV-FM , the only CanadianFM radio station licensed to a public high school.Vaughan Secondary School's current principal is Chris Sarellas, who took over for Allan Hoyle in 2006. Sheri Epstein is the sole vice principal, following the departure of Sonia Sahota at the end of the 07/08 year.
Starting in 2006, a number of regions previously associated with Vaughan Secondary were reassigned to Stephen Lewis Secondary School (aka Block 10). Students entering Grade 9 and 10 in 2006 residing in "Vaughan Block 10" were transferred from Vaughan Secondary School to Stephen Lewis Secondary School. This reduced the Vaughan Secondary population drastically.cite web|url=http://www.yrdsb.edu.on.ca/pdfs/w/schools/boundary/318boundary.pdf|title=Stephen Lewis Secondary School boundaries (PDF)|publisher=York Region District School Board|year=2002|accessdate=2006-05-04]
