The Engineering Institute is the research institute of the UNAM in Mexico City which focuses on engineering related topics. It holds the postgraduate programs of the Faculty of Engineering (UNAM)
History
It was created in 1959, giving the faculty it's current status.

Location & Facilities
The Institute is located in Ciudad Universitaria in Mexico City, inside the Faculty of Engineering area.
Graduate Studies
The institute currently offers graduate programs in four areas conjointly with the schools of science and engineering, as well as with the Earth Sciences Institute.
