Stanground Wash is managed as a nature reserve by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough. [ [http://www.wildlifebcnp.org/reserves/reserve.php?reserveid=67 Wildlife Trust: Stanground Wash] ] It lies on the banks of the River Nene, north of the residential area of Stanground in the unitary authority area of Peterborough.
