"Broadway to Hollywood" was an early American television program broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network. The popular prime time series ran from 1949 to 1954, becoming one of the longest-running series on the DuMont Network. It was a talk show originally hosted by George Putnam and filled with news, celebrity gossip, and home-viewer quizzes. It was originally titled "Broadway to Hollywood Headline Clues".McNeil, Alex (1980). "Total Television" (4th ed.). New York: Penguin Books. ISBN 0-14-024916-8.]

The quiz portion of the program proved popular enough that it was spun off into a daytime game show in Autumn of 1949. The nighttime version's title was changed to just "Broadway to Hollywood", while the daytime series was titled "Headline Clues". Host Putnam would leave the series in 1951. Later hosts included Bill Slater (1951-1953) and Conrad Nagel (1953-1954). The series was cancelled in 1954. The final episode aired on 15 July 1954.
