Jakab Szabár

Jakab Szabár _sl. Jakob Sabar (Horvátzsidány, around July 15, 1802 or 1803 – Črenšovci, December 14, 1863) writer and Roman Catholic Priest. Szabár was hungarian croat, in turn write in prekmurian (slovenian) and hungarian language.

Born in Vas, near Kőszeg. His parent József Szabár and Ilonka Csárics. The Croatians in Vas and Burgenland former name is "Whitecroat" ( _ge. Wassercroate, _sl. Beli Hrvat, _hu. Fehérhorvát).

Szabár was learn in Szombathely and Kőszeg. In 1826 consecrate and one year was Ferenc Bernyák's chaplain in Cankova, some time the bishopric relocate in onto Turnišče. In 1833-1835 Szabár was priest in Kančevci and 21 year round in Grad.
In 1859 get on Črenšovci.

Szabár mainly religious works wrote and aim to the hungarization.
