The Kanga Cup was first held in
Sydney in 1991, and has taken place inCanberra since 1993.The opening ceremony, which takes place on the first day of the competition, is held at
Canberra Stadium . Over 12,000 young footballers participate in around 100 teams, with both boy and girl team competitions being run from 10 to 18 years of age.Countries
