The Davenports are an American rock band. Formed in
2000 inBrooklyn, New York , the band has released two albums on Mother West records. A third release titled “Why The Great Gallop?” is scheduled for release in2008 . The band's song “Five Steps” from the album “Speaking of The Davenports” is the theme song to the A&E television series Intervention.
