blues-rock bandZZ Top , originally released on their1973 album "Tres Hombres ".History
ZZ Top first recorded their song in 1973, and despite the fact that the song was a minor hit, they chose not to release it as a single, instead choosing the songs "Waitin' for the Bus", "Jesus Just Left Chicago", and "La Grange", respectively. In
2006 , the album "Tres Hombres " was remastered and featured added bonus tracks of live versions of each of these songs. It became a frequent song in the band's live set around the time of its release, and has been played sparingly over the years, but has not been featured on any of the band's recent setlists. It was, however featured on the compilations "The Best of ZZ Top ", "Chrome, Smoke & BBQ ", and "Rancho Texicano ". It is the only song on the "Tres Hombres" album to featurelead vocals bybassist Dusty Hill , who trades off every line withguitarist Billy Gibbons . Such a vocal style was repeated on certain songs on their later albums, such as "Heard it on the X", from "Fandango! ", "Pan Am Highway Blues" and "Avalon Hideaway", from "Tejas", and "Don't Tease Me", from "El Loco ".Personnel
