Dingman Delaware Middle School,commonly known as "DDMS" located in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania was built in 1994 and is a Middle School serving sixth, seventh, and eighth graders in the Dingmans Ferry and Milford area. The school is operated by the Delaware Valley School District. 642 students attend the school. It is set on Route 739. The campus is 38 acres (150,000 m2) in size. It features a baseball field which combines into a football field, a soccer field, and a softball field which combines into field hockey field. It also has an auditorium which can seat over 700 people, a technology lab, a family and consumer lab, wrestling room, and a full-size gym. It also features two art rooms, a chorus room, a band room, and a music room feturing a wall of 30 guitars.
The Dingman Delaware Middle School, whose motto is "Where the best get better" has two principals, Mr. James Mitchell and assistant principal Mr. Brian McCarthy. The school has 45 teachers, 3 instructional aides, 4 gym teacher, 2 guidance counselors and a variety of other support staff that move about other schools within the district.
The Dingman Delaware Middle School has a variety of sports and clubs students participate in. These include football, baseball, volleyball, field hockey, cheerleading, softball, girls and boys cross country, girls and boys soccer, girls and boys tennis, girls and boys track and field, girls and boys basketball and wrestling. The clubs include Math Counts, Science Olympia, Newspaper and Magazine, Drama, Movie club, Walking club, Yearbook, JR SASA, Pep Band, and Odyssey of the Mind.
