James Houser is a
Minor League Baseball player in theTampa Bay Rays organization. He plays thePitcher position. He currently plays for theMontgomery Biscuits in the Southern League.Minor League Career
James was drafted in the 2nd Round (38th Overall) of the
2003 MLB Draft . He reported to thePrinceton Devil Rays team in theAppalachian League , finishing 2003 with a record of 0-4 and a 3.73 ERA. In 2004, he played for theCharleston RiverDogs , finishing with a 3-1 record and a career-low 2.20 ERA. In 2005, he played for the Southwest Michigan farm team and had an 8-8 record and 3.76 ERA. For the 2006 season, he played for theVisalia Oaks , having a career-best record of 12-4, but with a 5-4 ERA. During the 2007 season, he played for Montgomery, finishing with a 5-4 record and a 3.65 ERA. He started the season with them this year, and currently is 0-1 with a 2.45 ERA.uspension
