The Alfa Romeo 33 Carabo was a concept car first shown in 1968 and designed by Marcello Gandini, working for the Bertone design studio. "Carabo" means beetle.

In October 1968 the car was shown for the first time in public at Porte de Versailles in Paris.The prototype was built on the chassis of the Alfa Romeo Tipo 33, a mid-engined V8The upward hinging doors, later inspired the Lamborghini Countach.
