Justice Greg James born
15 September 1944 , is a former Judge of theSupreme Court of New South Wales . He is believed to be the youngestQueen's Counsel (Q.C.) ever appointed in New South Wales, he is recognised as one of Australia's leading Appellate court Counsel, and he was the first AustralianWar Crimes Prosecutor, counsel for Veterans in theRoyal Commission into British nuclear tests in Australia , one of several counsel involved in theBathhurst Gaol Riots . Retiring from the Supreme Court in 2005 he was appointed Royal Commissioner in theKapunda Road Royal Commission in South Australia. Upon the completion of the Royal Commission, he was invited by the RAMSI mission toSolomon Islands to contribute to the ongoing education of Judges and Magistrates inSolomon Islands . Upon return fromSolomon Islands he was appointed the President of theMental Health Review Tribunal of New South Wales , a position which he still holds.He is also keen surfer, and an avid Rugby Union fan.External links
