Robert Arthur "Rob" Knox (21 August 1989imdb name|id=2527061|name=Robert Knox] - 24 May 2008) was a British actor who played the role of Marcus Belby in the to-be-released film "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" (2008), and had signed to appear in the planned film "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".citeweb|first=David|last=Brown|url=http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article4004409.ece|title=Family of murdered Robert Knox speak out|publisher=Times Online|date=2008-05-26|accessdate=2008-05-27] He died after being stabbed in Sidcup, England, on May 24, 2008, when he intervened in a fight to protect his brother.

Career

Knox had been acting since the age of 11, and his first credited role was a small part in an episode of the ITV police drama "The Bill" and he also appeared in the Channel 4 reality show "Trust me I'm a Teenager", and the BBC comedy "After You've Gone". He had previously appeared as an extra in a number of productions such as the 2004 film "King Arthur". He also appeared on "Tonight with Trevor McDonald". Death

Knox died at the age of 18 after he was stabbed outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup, of southeast London, on May 24, 2008. Karl Norman Bishop (born Lewisham, London, 1987), of southeast London, has been charged with the murder. He was remanded in custody, and remains there while awaiting his trial.
