Matsuzaka Castle (松坂城 Matsuzaka-jō?) is a castle located in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, Japan. The castle was constructed in 1588 by Gamō Ujisato with a three-story tenshu (keep). Only the castle's ruins stand today, though they are a popular site to rest for the citizens of Matsuzaka. Located in the castle is a local history museum and the Motoori Norinaga Memorial Hall.[1]
