Mcdill Elementary School (Mcdill Academies) is an elementary charter school in Plover, Wisconsin in the [http://www.wisp.k12.wi.us/education/district/district.php?sectionid=1 Stevens Point Area School District] that teaches about 400 students in the Northern Plover, Southern Stevens Point, and Whiting, Wisconsin area. The school teaches students in grades Kindergarten through sixth grade. The school team is called the Mcdill Timberwolves, and their mascot is a bison head with a Mcdill Hat named Bobby the Buffalo. Bobby the Buffalo is located at the front of the school. Mcdill's principal is currently Dennis Raabe. The school, like every other school in the district, runs from early September to early June every year. Mcdill also won the "Spirit Jug" at the Stevens Point District Track Meet (grades 5-6) for the first time ever in the 2007-2008 school year. They will be defending the title this year also, and hopefully they will win it again.
