Andrew R. Crow is a Canadian scientist. He discovered the mechanism of action of
Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg) in the treatment ofautoimmune disease [Nature Medicine 12, 688 - 692 (2006); Nature Protocols 10.1038/nprot.2006.153 (2006))] and, based on this substantial discovery, has developed new replacement therapies for IVIg.Subsequently, his work in the field of medical research garnered Crow the Ontario Premier's Award for Technology in 2006.
