Major (ret) Abdur Rehman Rana

Abdurehman (ab-dur-reh-maan) is well known retired major from Pakistani Army & politician in Jaranwala, the city of Faislabad, Punjab, Pakistan.he have been a Tehsil Nazim Municipal Administrator of Tehsil city or sub division Jaranwala. He became administrator for first time by winning the elections in 2004 from Pakistan Muslim League Quied-e-Azam. He was not just successful in his elections but also his goals and agendas. He did a lot of construction work, made the sewerage system better, built new governmental official buildings. In next election terms he did not got seat from his party PML-Q. So he had to run in election all by his self which was the major cause for him to loose the elections for next term for Tehsil Nazim. But he didn't gave up he came in the race of politics again but not on as higher level as he was before so the he ran for to be the Member of Punjab Assembly in February 2008 and he won the elections and became the MPA.

History

He was born on December 8,1942 in Bikaner Rajasthan the state of India. His father's name was Rana Abdulsittar and his mother's name was Ulfatt Begum. He has one older brother whose name is Rana Abdulghafar. He has three sisters Arshad, Kalsoom, and Zikria. In 1965 he was married to his cousin nammed Tasneem. she is a doctor. and they have five children. One son and four daughters. Rubail, Zanjbeel, Rakshnda, Umar and Afsheen. He is very happy in his life.
