Oiketerion

Oiketerion (οἰκητήριον) is a Greek word meaning "habitation".^[1][2][3] It is used in two places in the Bible: 2 Corinthians 5:2^[3] and Jude 1:6^[3]

Usages

According to the King James Version translation of the Greek, the specific scriptural usages of the word are:

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.^[4]

and

For in this we groan earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:^[5]
