As quoted by the artist, her latest work lies "somewhere between the playful irony, or skepticism of that which is termed as
Postmodern art and that which some call aPost-postmodern outlook, where in fact the will is to seek the aid of the observer in order to fulfill the work's ultimate goal - to be awork of art ".

*"Eremita"are some of the examples of this style. These later works of art, usually intriptych orpolyptych form, seem as if they are puzzles to be joined together at one's will. Nevertheless, she never leaves to chance the core meaning underlying these works of art. She does this through the use of strong colour systems, textures and other elements so that the true meaning behind the work can be revealed no matter what positions it is organized into."Eremita" will always be an obscure homage to Man's incommunicability, no matter how one lays it out, whereas "(Des)larguem-me" transmits dissintegration, as a
phenomenon along with its opposite -integration .Being involved in
Fine Arts makes it easy to understand her deep interest incommunication and its processes, but it is the latter work "(Des)larguem-me" that truly mirrors her background of immigration, emigration and twincultures (Canadian - Portuguese).Current projects
