Manoj D. (Mayur) Antani (born
June 7 ,1954 ), is an IPS officer for the Indian government and serves as the Regional Passport Officer (RPO) since early 2004. Antani, the former SP ofBharuch , was transferred out of Bharuch toNarmada district in March 2002 for taking action against some BJP/VHP supporters creating political turmoil in Bharuch. He played a critical role in maintaining law and order during a turbulent time and throughout the riots.
