Schneider Associates1 is a full-service public relations and marketing communications agency based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 1980, the company’s six key practice areas are Consumer Marketing, Corporate Communications, Social Media, Public Affairs, Integrated Marketing and Launch Public RelationsSM.

Schneider Associates’ represents consumer, corporate, real estate, and public affairs clients. The consumer companies the agency has worked for include Colgate-Palmolive, d-CON, Glass Plus, Baskin-Robbins, Subway®, Honey Dew Donuts, NECCO, Macy’s Cheese Sticks, Milliken & Company and Mosquito Magnet. Real estate and professional services clients have included Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, Patriot Partners, Walker Parking Consultants & Rampart Investment Management.

Research

Schneider Associates specializes in Launch Public RelationsSM. In 2001 Schneider Associates funded a study on new product launch in conjunction with Boston University’s Communication Research Center. The Schneider/Boston University New Product Launch Report2 examined how marketers launch new consumer products. Joan Schneider shared the results from this study in her book, New Product Launch: 10 Proven Strategies3. Published in 2004, the book is now in its second printing.

In 2007, Schneider Associates researched the business-to-business market with the release of The Schneider Associates Business-to-Business Launch Study4, which uncovered 10 lessons B2B companies used to improve their launch success. This study was co-sponsored by Schneider Associates and the Center for Business Innovation at Babson College.

Since 2000, Schneider Associates has conducted the Most Memorable New Product Launch Survey5, an annual survey that identifies which new products had the most memorable launches during the year. The online survey polls more than 1,000 U.S. consumers about the most memorable new product launches of the year, current purchasing and behavioral trends.6
