The Lancashire Cup is a Rugby Football Union competition of which any school in the area of Lancashire is allowed to compete in. Each year various clubs compete in the following agegroups, U13, U14, U15, U16, junior Colts and senior Colts for each age group a final is held at a different rugby club each year. The chosen rugby club is usually chosen for a specific reason such as celebrating a fifty year anniversary. The most successful team in the competition are Ormskirk RUFCs current Under 16s who have won the cup for the 4 years they were entered (2004-2008) [ [http://clubs.rfu.com/Clubs/portals/lancashire/JuniorChallenge0708.aspx Junior Challenge 07/08 ] ]
