Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the district has a total area of 132.2 km² (51.0 mi²), all land.

East Fork is bordered by Summit Township to the north and west, West Branch Township to the north, Abbott and Stewardson Townships to the east, Clinton County to the south and Wharton Township to the west.

Demographics

As of the censusGR|2 of 2000, there were 14 people, 7 households, and 5 families residing in the district. The population density was 0.1/km² (0.3/mi²). There were 152 housing units at an average density of 1.1/km² (3.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the district was 100.00% White.

There were 7 households out of which none had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.4% were married couples living together, 14.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 14.3% were non-families. 14.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.00 and the average family size was 2.17.

In the district the population was spread out with 7.1% from 18 to 24, 28.6% from 25 to 44, 35.7% from 45 to 64, and 28.6% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 59 years. For every 100 females there were 133.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 133.3 males.

The median income for a household in the district was $19,375, and the median income for a family was $21,250. Males had a median income of $0 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the district was $11,447. There were no families and 20.0% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 27.3% of those over 64.
