Robert Thomson (cyclist)

Robert Thomson is a round the world cyclist, yachter and longboarder from New Zealand. He is now (November 2007) in America, on the return leg of his journey.

He started his journey in Fukuoka, Japan, and cycled his way across Asia and Europe to Switzerland on a recumbent bike. There he worked at a children's summer camp to earn some money before setting off to London by longboard. Travelled across the Atlantic Ocean as part of a team on a yacht, and will longboard across the whole of the North American continent, from east coast to west coast. This will be a new world record for long distance skateboarding
