York Regional Road 82, locally known as Victoria Street, is a short exurban road located in the hamlet of Udora. It curves from the southwest to the northeast, and forms the village's tiny downtown core. Victoria Street is one of the shortest and most remote regional roads in York Region. Victoria Street is in the southeastern edge of the town of Georgina; Durham Region is located to the south and east.

Attractions

Virginia Street is a continuation of Durham Regional Road 1, which runs north from Uxbridge. The street obtains York Regional Road status as it crosses Ravenshoe Road and enters York Region. Udora's tiny downtown core is located at the road's southwest terminus at Ravenshoe Road. This area features a public park, a community centre, and two general stores.

Virginia Street turns into a sparse, residential area north of Udora Park. A large Udora roadsign is located on Virginia near Cedarham Street, as the road starts curving northeast. Virginia continues for 2 kilometers due east, through barren farmland outside of Udora, until it ends at a T-intersection with Lake Ridge Road, which forms the York/Durham border.

The street connects Ravenshoe Road and Lake Ridge Road, thus providing Udora residents with access to Keswick in the west, Pefferlaw and Beaverton in the north, and Leaksdale and Uxbridge in the south.

Transportation

There is no public transportation along Virginia Road (or anywhere in Udora). Go Transit has two bus routes in the general vicinity of Udora. Route 69. The York Region government lists the road as Class 3, indicating that average traffic is less than 10,000 vehicles per day. Major roads/highways that run parallel & perpendicular to Virginia Road

Due to Victoria Street's short length, unique shape, and great distance from the rest of York Region, there are no roads that are directly parallel or perpendicular to it. Parts of Weir's Sideroad, Ravenshoe Road, Pefferlaw Road and Durham Region's Lake Ridge Road run nearby.
