mpassengers=Yawkey is a station on the MBTA Commuter Rail
Framingham/Worcester Line . It is situated nearFenway Park ,Boston University and theLongwood Medical and Academic Area .The station has a single passenger platform on the southerly (inbound) track, which is shared by both inbound and outbound trains. Because of the short platform, passengers exiting trains at Yawkey must be in the rear three cars of the train. Plans for a development in the vicinity of the station would incorporate an extension of the platform, as well as improvements to station access.
