Jumbo (British band)

Jumbo (British band)

Jumbo, formerly Angelique, was a Swansea-based pop cover band from London, managed by JV Entertainments and briefly signed to a national record deal until head-hunted by the Tremeloes. After a brief period of Tremeloes management, two Jumbo members, Bob Benham and (John) Aaron Woolley joined the Tremeloes.

Benham went on to join the Rubettes. He and Aaron reformed as an Eagles tribute band in the 1990s. Aaron Woolley is now an accomplished acoustic guitar player based in Perth, Australia. Bob Benham is in the property business in Spain.
