Kaôh Kŏng District is an island district located in Koh Kong Province, in south-western Cambodia. At first, it was occupied by Thailand called "Changwat Pra-chan-ta-kee-ree-khet" ( _th. จังหวัดประจันตคีรีเขตร์) and became one of the Thailand's province. Later, on colonization era, France had occupied it.
