House system

Students are admitted to one of four houses:

  • Challengers(Won 5 years in a row 2005-2010)
  • Explorers
  • Pioneers
  • Voyagers

Each house has its distinct identity and heritage. The Challengers, in their scarlet, aim "To strive, to seek, to find and not to yield" (a line written by Alfred Lord Tennyson). The Explorers, dressed in purple, abide by the motto "Endeavour to Reach Beyond". The Pioneers, in amber, are "The light that always shows, the spark that always glows". The Voyagers, in sky blue, follow the motto "Vigour, Valour, Victory".

Each year, the faculty members nominate a student body to govern individual clubs and associations. Students of Grades XII or XI are eligible for the posts of School Prefect, Sports Captain and House Captain, and their respective deputies. One student is handed charge of the student body. The students of Grades IX to XII are elected to preside over clubs. The student government body comprises close to 60 members and takes office at an official Investiture Ceremony.
