Riverside Military Academy is an independent, college preparatory, boarding and day school for boys in Gainesville, Georgia, USA.

History

Riverside Military Academy was chartered in 1906 and opened for classes in September 1908. Its founders were Professors Haywood Jefferson Pearce and Azor W. Van Hoose, Jr., longtime proprietors of all-female Brenau College in Gainesville. In 1913, a young educator named Sandy Beaver became president of the academy, and in 1915 he gained ownership of it.
