"Well-Fed Feline" is an episode of "Garfield and Friends". It originally aired on November 25, 1989.

Episode recap

Jon had baked a seven-layer lasagna cake, which was sitting on the kitchen table to cool. Garfield comes along and eats the entire cake; then he walks into the living room and finds that Jon brought Nermal over. Garfield quickly tires of Nermal and then places him in a package on the front porch to be mailed to Abu Dhabi.

Meanwhile, an uppity lady named Harriet Underburger is going door to door collecting donations for animal protection, and she becomes mortified when she overhears Jon declare that he won't feed Garfield again until Arbor Day (after Jon discovers that Garfield ate the cake). Harriet then rushes over to Jon’s house just as Nermal struggles out of the package; then she accuses Jon of not only mailing Nermal, but also not feeding Garfield. Garfield then ties a belt tight around his stomach to appear malnourished, and Harriet then warns Jon that she will be back later, and if Garfield isn’t fed, Jon will be arrested.

Jon then feeds Garfield every bit of food in the house. Soon after, Harriet comes back and points out that he didn’t feed Nermal; before she has him arrested. After Garfield fails to prove his health at Jon’s court hearing, he and Nermal then bail Jon out of jail. Garfield tastes the jail food that Jon was just about to eat and dislikes it, as does Nermal, who Garfield then locks in Jon’s former cell and then leaves.

Quotes

Jon: Garfield, I'm not going to feed you again until Arbor Day!
