The Shrieking Sixties [http://www.ecophotoexplorers.com/antarctica_southocean.asp Exploring the Southern Ocean] are winds found in the latitudes below 60°S—close to Antarctica. They are closely related to the weather patterns found in the region. They are also called the "Screaming Sixties".
