Hatem was the
Pantene Miss Egypt 2007 titleholder, at the age of 21 years old. She represented Egypt in theMiss Universe 2007 pageant held inMexico City, Mexico in May 2007. Although she did not place, she was among GobalBeauties.com Top 10 for Best in Evening Gown and Top 10 for Most Photogenic.She is a freelance English Language Instructor for ESL students. She previously worked at Institute for English Language Sciences in Medinat Nasr, Cairo, and Berlitz Language Institutes.
She also spends much of her time on painting and creating diesigns and motifs in her unusual art style. She claims thather style is inspired mainly by Surrealist artists especially Salvador Dali; Urban graffiti art of all kinds; Bright Fauvistic colours, and a few others.
