Combolcha Airport

Kombolcha Airport (IATA: DSEICAO: HADC) is an airport located between the cities of Dessie and Kombolcha in Ethiopia. Located at an elevation of 1864 meters above sea level, this airport has one unpaved runway 1098 meters long.[1]

Accidents and incidents

On 7 October 1981, Douglas C-47A ET-AHR of Ethiopian Airlines was damaged beyond repair when the undercarriage collapsed on landing. The aircraft was destroyed in December 1981 when a Mil Mi-24 helicopter crashed into it.[2]
