Ben Thompson (born 22 February 1992, in Manchester) is a young English actor who appears in "Coronation Street" to play the role of Ryan Connor.

He also starred in a short film called " [http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0334220/ Re-inventing Eddie] ". He also has appeared in the hit CBBC show "Stupid!" which he played numerous characters and starred in many sketches.

He does a lot of campaigning for the NSPCC after his dad got him involved.

He was in a local rock band called " [http://www.fevered.co.uk/theband.html Fevered] " and has also appeared twice with the Joy Division Tribute band Transmission at the Manchester Academy as Support.

He is now attending Holy Cross Sixth Form college in Bury, Manchester.
