KRTX (980 AM), branded as "Puro Tejano 980", is a Tejano music formatted radio station in the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area. It is currently owned by Univision, which has announced that it will sell this station to Aleluya Christian Broadcasting. If approved, the sale is expected to imminently close and while the spanish language remains, a format change will happen. KRTX will move its Tejano format to KPTI 105.3 FM in Crystal Beach, Texas once the deal is finalized.
