Personal life

Born on June 13, 1922 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of businessman Edward Lynch, Gallagher attended West Philadelphia Catholic High School. She married Paul Gallagher, a naval fighter pilot, and together they had four children. She died on November 19, 1974.
