The Miss Connecticut competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Connecticut in the Miss America pageant. Connecticut has won the Miss America crown once (Marian Bergeron, 1933).

Behind closed doors with pageant officials present there was some sort of secret run-off with the original winner. At that meeting, Miss Gelish was declared the winner.
