Hijken (coord|52|54|N|6|30|E|type:city(322)) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Midden-Drenthe, and lies about 13 km south of Assen.

In 2001, the town of Hijken had 322 inhabitants.
