Gregor Tait (born April 20, 1979 in Glasgow) is a Scottish swimmer. He is the reigning Commonwealth Games 200 m backstroke (breaking the Commonwealth Games record) and 200 m individual medley champion.

In addition to his two titles, Tait also claimed two bronze medals at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, Australia. He was hailed as a "national hero" upon his return by Scotland's First Minister, Jack McConnell.
