Nikodin Matic (born August 28, 1992 in Benkovac, Croatia), is a professional football (soccer) player and entrepreneur.

He is currently playing as a Goalkeeper for the Australian National Youth League club Central Coast Mariners FC Youth.

In his National Youth League debut vs Adelaide United FC he was quoted by his coach Tony Walmsley as "It’s not often that the man of the match probably only played for 30 minutes, but he was outstanding for the 30 minutes he did play after replacing Redders (Andrew Redmayne). Nik Matic was outstanding, he made some great saves and his distribution was great as well..[2]

Matic will showcase his talent at WIN Stadium for the New South Wales Premier League club South Coast Wolves Football Club.[3]

Custodian Nikodin Matic has helped the NSW Schoolboys team to victory in the Australian Schoolboys U/19 Championships. His quality performances have earned him a spot in the Australian Shoolboys Football Team. He will tour China/Japan with the Australian team in January 2011.

Recently this year, Nikodin Matic was selected to trial at the Nike-The Chance Regional Trials in Sydney. After impressing the Nike Scouts he was selected to participate in the Nike-The Chance Pacific Trials with 26 other quality athletes from Australia and New Zealand. After yet another impressive performance at the AIS, Canberra he was selected as one of the top 4 players from the Pacific Region. He will represent Australia and New Zealand in England as he takes on the finest 100 players from the globe to secure a contract at the prestigious Nike Academy.[4]

In the 2009 season with Marconi Stallions, he helped the club clinch a semi-final spot with his fine performances throughout the season.

On the 1st November 2011 Matic completed a move to Blue Square South side Farnborough FC in the United Kingdom after having trials with Premier league side Norwich City FC.
