Mount Hall

Mount Hall (84°55′S 170°22′W / 84.917°S 170.367°W / -84.917; -170.367) is a rock peak (2,430 m) standing 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) southwest of Mount Daniel, surmounting the snow-covered, tabular mountain block which forms the south end of Lillie Range, in the foothills of the Prince Olav Mountains. Discovered and photographed by the U.S. Ross Ice Shelf Traverse Party (1957-38) under A.P. Crary, and named by him for Lieutenant Commander Ray E. Hall, U.S. Navy, pilot of U.S. Navy Squadron VX-6 during Deep Freeze Operations.
