The line ran from Georgiana to Geneva, Alabama, a distance of convert|76|mi|km and interchanged with CSX at Georgiana.

On June 11 2001, the Alabama and Florida Railway sold a convert|33|mi|km|sing=on segment of its track from Georgiana, AL to Andalusia, AL, to the Three Notch Railroad (TNR), which is owned by Gulf and Ohio Railways.

History

The line was built in 1901 by the Alabama & Florida Railroad and ran from a connection with the Louisville & Nashville (now CSX) at Georgiana, Alabama and terminated at Graceville, Florida with a connection to the Atlanta and St Andrews Bay Railroad (now the Bay Line Railroad).

The Louisville & Nashville (later Seaboard System), operated the line from 1901 until it was acquired on July 28 1986, by Gulf and Ohio Railways, and renamed its original name, the Alabama & Florida Railroad. The Alabama & Florida "Railroad" was purchased by Pioneer RailCorp on November 23 1992, and renamed the Alabama & Florida "Railway".

The Geneva, Alabama to Graceville, Alabama section of track (23 miles) was abandoned. The Andalusia and Conecuh Railroad that connected with the AF at Andalusia was abandoned in 1987.

The Alabama and Florida Railway sold its convert|33|mi|km of track between Andalusia - River Falls - Georgiana to the Three Notch Railroad on June 11 2001.
