Miracle Park is a British superhero film directed by comic writer Mark Millar. It is currently in production.

Plot

The film's plot is described as being "set in contemporary Scotland, this dark, unique superhero story focuses on a group of animal rights activists who break into a low-level research laboratory to find a mile-long underground base owned and facilitated by the US government."^{[citation needed]}

Development

Millar has described the film as "X-Men meets Trainspotting". The film has been shot entirely with a hand-held camera, and began in September in Scotland. Filming was scheduled to finish in October, and post-production is expected to last until January. The first images from the set were revelaed on September 16, 2010.^[1] A teaser trailer will be released around January.^{[dated info][2]} The film will feature a high level of violence.^[3]
