Mathania is a town in Jodhpur district, Rajasthan, India. Mahania is known for its red chilli powder in world level but now water level is decreased and reach apx 1000ft to 1200ft.In this village the Asias largest solar power project is waiting for start. Mathania's "MALMAL" {a type of cloth} also famous in India and abroad. Now that factory has been closed. In this town rajasthan state industrial area is there. In this village Many peoples are working in govt sector all over india. Mathania is also famous for Mali community they grow bhaji (Vegetable )all the people from this community work as a labour and own a big share of land and business also hold by this hard working community. Agriculture and chilly powder production are the basic business for people.Earlier in ayodhya Babri masjid kand this village lost his son setha ram parihar. every year on kartik purnima a big pooja and religios fare organised here. people came in lacs. Sarpanch(Head of the village elected by the people) is Bhanwari Devi w/o Kewal Ram Gehlot(Boss).
