Dawson Nunatak (70°13′S 65°2′E / 70.217°S 65.033°E) is a nunatak about 3 nautical miles (6 km) south-southeast of Mount Peter in the Athos Range, Prince Charles Mountains. Plotted from ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) air photos. Named for P.L. Dawson, senior diesel mechanic at Mawson Station in 1964.
