Damien Welch (born 25 March 1984 in Reading) is an English born Rugby Union footballer who plays at lock for the Scarlets.

Club career

Welch played for Westwood Wanderers until the age of 16.

After beginning his rugby career at Cardiff University he then went to represent Pontypridd, Cardiff and Cardiff Blues.

When he finishes his rugby career he expects to qualify as a Lawyer.
