Lou Reed (born 10 September 1987) is a Welsh rugby union footballer. He currently plays as a lock for the Llanelli Scarlets in the Magners League.

Reed signed for the Scarlets on a professional development contract in March 2006, [cite news |title=Scarlets sign up six youngsters |url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/welsh/4832374.stm |publisher=BBC Sport |date=2006-03-22 |accessdate=2008-02-13 ] but only made five appearances in the 2006–07 season. In order to gain some experience of first-team rugby, Reed was loaned to Rotherham for a month in December 2007.
