Hiba is a family magazine which is published from Karachi. It has been in circulation since April 2004 and to date, nineteen issues have been published.

Frequency of Publication

Hiba is a quarterly magazine - it is published every three months. The fresh issue comes out at the start of every quarter - January, April, July and October.

Each issue is based on a specific theme - most of the articles in the 52-page issue centre on that theme.

Hiba Kidz is a newsletter for children between the ages of 8 and 12. This is a complimentary publication for Hiba's subscribers. Hiba Kidz is jam-packed with stories, puzzles, and most importantly, contributions by kids themselves. The different sections of Hiba Kidz include:-

Cover Price

The current issue of the magazine costs PKR150/- while past issues are priced at PKR125/-

The cost of this magazine is relatively higher as compared to most of the magazines in this category mainly because of high quality designing and printing as well as an extensive use of colour and glossy paper, in order to make the magazine more appealing for the readers.

Hiba was founded by its current owner and editor, Rana Rais Khan. The magazine has a small, pre-dominantly female staff.
