Opened by the
Oswestry and Newtown Railway then by theCambrian Railway , it became part of theGreat Western Railway during the Grouping of 1923. The line then passed on to theWestern Region of British Railways onnationalisation in 1948. The station was then closed by theBritish Railways Board .The site today
The platform and station building still remain on the site.
